Taylor A. Lawrence is a photographer who lives and works in New York City and Los Angeles. He graduated from Boston University majoring in both film and photography. Lawrence’s work has taken him all over the States, having traveled to and from many of these projects, he has become a regular on the US highway system and been to every state in the union---except Alaska. Lawrence’s work captures an abstract Americana that is not very often seen or appreciated for its subtle historical and present day tones of American life. His work is reminiscent of the photographs of Robert Frank and the Starn Twins.
